What is CUET Exam?

CUET stands for Common University Entrance Test. It is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate (UG) programs in central universities and over 300 participating institutions (including state, deemed, private, and other universities) across India.

CUET UG provides a single-window opportunity for students to apply to multiple universities without relying solely on Class 12 board marks.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed or be appearing in Class 12 (or equivalent) from a recognized board in 2026.

No upper age limit.

Minimum marks: Generally 50% for General category and 45% for SC/ST/OBC (varies by university/course).

Exam Pattern

Section IA: 13 Languages (choose for language test)

Section II: 23 Domain-Specific Subjects (based on Class 12 subjects)

Format: Objective MCQs with negative marking (-1 for wrong answers).

Duration: 60 minutes per subject/section.

No major changes from previous year; candidates can choose combinations based on university requirements.
